About Cuna de Reyes: Cuna de Reyes winery was founded in 1999 in the town of Nájera (La Rioja)  also known as the “Kings court”and, paying homage to this noble town, their wines were names Cuna de Reyes (birthplace of kings). Cuna de Reyes harvests its own grapes from La Rioja Alta, as well as those from contarcted vintners in the area, with great care taken over the quality of the fruit. The main grape variety used is Tempranillo, however also used are Grenache and Mazuelo for red wines and Viura for whites. In the careful hands of the exuberant winemaker, Alfredo Ciria (third generation winemaker), traditional winemaking techniques are combines with state of the art facilities to create wines of real quality and character.

Description: 85% Tempranillo, 5% Garnacia, 10% Mazuelo. This wine is from the best quality area of Rioja- Rioja Alta. It is aged for 20 months in American and French oak barrels producing wine with ripe red fruits, toasted oak wood and vanilla notes. Round and velvety with a spicy background.
