About Chateau Gloria: Henri Martin established Château Gloria on a Saint-Julien vineyard with an area of 50 hectares. The wine was made piece by piece for many years and on plots coming only from Classified Growths of 1855. Today, this château is known worldwide because of the quality of its terroir, its culture and careful vinification. The blend is 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot.
Description: The Château Gloria 2011 has a deep purple colour. On the nose, the wine has a great complexity and a good balance with aromas of red fruit and cherries, as well as vanilla fragrances. On the palate, the wine is round and full-bodied with a silky, velvety structure. This Château Gloria offers an elegant finish with a lot of freshness.

An excellent effort, the 2011 Gloria continues the success this well-known property has enjoyed over the last several decades. A delicious concoction of red and black fruits, spice box, and earth as well as a silky textured, medium-bodied style emerge from this is an undeniable sleeper of the vintage. The round tannins, delicious fruit and forward character suggest it should be enjoyed over the next 7-8 years.
