About Bodegas Terras De Lantano: Ramiro Martinez Señorans is the man behind this wine; he made his fortune in the Spanish meat industry, and began making wine from grapes on his property for personal consumption only. After friends began demanding bottles from his inventory, he decided to rebuild a winery — Bodegas Terras de Lantaño. This winery had originally been founded in the Salnés Valley ( Known as the birthplace of the Albariño grape) in 1977 and had fallen into disrepair. Ramiro had the Bodegas refurbished with the utmost respect. Seeking the combination of its traditional character with new technologies and winemaking methods he began production in its new home in 2005.
