About Caves d’Alignan Du Vent Neffiès: Situated in the village of Neffiès, the Cave d’Alignan du Vent is a co-operative of 300 wine growers who cultivate some of the most diverse vineyards in southern France. Since it’s formation in 2002, Alignan has seen significant ongoing investment in state of the art wine making equipment which has allowed the group to maximise the diversity of soil types and microclimatic conditions.

Vinification: Grapes are harvested at a very good ripeness, then they are destemmed before traditional fermentation. Maceration is rather short. The wine is aged in old barrels in order to get roundness, sweetness and smooth tannins. Aged for 8 to 12 months.

Description: garnet robe, aromas of red fruit such as morello cherry. In the mouth notes of cherry, birch but also leather and vanilla. Tannins are smooth with a sweet, mellow finish.

ABV: 12.5%
