About Dame de Montrose: Succeeding three generations of the Charmolüe family, Martin and Olivier Bouygues acquired Château Montrose in 2006. They loved its wines, to which they had been introduced by their father, Francis Bouygues. Aware of the potential of its unique terroir, they appreciated the advantages and riches of the estate and decided to invest in it. Under their impetus, Montrose entered the 21st century with a spectacular reconstruction.
Description: An energetic red wine from Saint-Estèphe. With an area of 95 hectares, the Montrose vineyard offers three different wines. The Dame de Montrose is the second-wine of Château Montrose from the Saint-Estèphe appellation. The blend is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot.
The Dame de Montrose 2015 has a very fragrant and floral bouquet with blueberry and violet scents. On the palate, the wine is balanced and sumptuously structured due to the Merlot, which is the heart of this wine.

The 2015 La Dame de Montrose is deep garnet-purple in color with a nose of crushed black currants, warm black plums and black truffles with hints of underbrush, dried herbs and tar. Medium-bodied, firm and with a good core of earth-laced black fruits, it finishes with good length.
